How listings work

A directory, not a rating.

CasinoMaps shows where licensed casinos and gaming halls are, and only the facts a source supports. The number on a card is completeness: how much of the record is filled in.

Unknown stays unknown

If hours, games, a poker room or table minimums were not confirmed, they are left blank. They are not treated as zero and they are not invented.

Two venue types

Licensed casino means the operator presents the place as a casino. Gaming hall is the other type on the map. The label is for filtering. It is not a legal opinion.

How trust is marked

Public record
Filled fields were copied from a cited page, with the date that page was read.
Sample
A fictional card so the layout can show hours, games, poker and minimums. The name starts with “Sample”.
Visit verified
Someone checked the facts on a visit. None of the seeded cards use this yet.
Operator confirmed
The venue claimed the listing and the confirmed fields were checked. None of the seeded cards use this yet.

Photos

This project does not store original photos. Strangers’ and staff faces, if a photo is ever added, are covered with the chip icon before anything is committed.
