The site of CasaBlanca Resort used to be farmland owned by Bryan Hafen. In 1994, it was sold to Players International, who announced the construction of a hotel-casino on the land.
The hotel was completed in 1995, with nine floors at the time.
It officially opened on July 28, 1995, and was the third resort to open in Mesquite, after the Oasis and Virgin River.
Although it was very popular and received many visitors, Players Island ran into financial problems that led to its sale. The buyer was Randy Black Sr., the owner of Virgin River.
After the purchase, the name of the resort was changed to CasaBlanca. This change became official on July 1, 1997.
In 1998, the Casablanca operation was carried out, in which some money laundering suspects were arrested. The name of the operation was chosen before the change of name of the complex.
Since 2010 the hotel includes 472 rooms and 24 common areas, which make up the CasaBlanca Vacation Club.
